A Rideout Just For The Fun Of It
 .While Andy and Sheila were slogging it back from Llandudno national, For those stuck at home Adam arranged a scenic run out to Filey via Humanby then back home going up through Dalby Forest.Riders from Kippax, Slingsby and Driffield joined in and a good sized group set off in dubious weather. But the sun soon broke and we rode in some lovely sunny warm weather, a first this year. Kenny had a flat and discovered that the current Vespa 3 in 1 spanners don't fit Vespa wheel nuts any more. The rest of the run was fairly trouble free except some locals had switched the sign posts around at Humanby sending Scoot Stu 8 miles down a dirt track to Bridlington. A beer and some grub at Filey, some went straight home after that, some went to have ice creams on Scarboro seafront while a hardy few headed up into Dalby Forest to some spectacular scenery, some twisty hilly roads and a £2 toll road charge! Still I reckon it was worth every penny. Excellent day out, spotless weather, great company.
