Multi Club Meet
 .First meet of the year hosted by York Saxons SC at the Turf Tavern in Dringhouses. The weather was pretty foul all day but luckily kept dry for most of the ride up. First problem was the A19 closed before Escrick which meant a lengthy detour through Riccall and Stillingfleet on wet country roads on a dark evening. Still the welcome we got at the Turf Tavern more than made up for it. Scooter videos playing, scooterist sounds on the jukebox and mates from other clubs to natter to. Must have been around 30 scooters but maybe 60 scooterists in attendance. Not a bad start to the years mid week ride outs
