Help for Heroes. Remembrance Day. Cleckheaton.
Probably the last rideout of the year took us to Park View Bar, home of the Spen Valley SC in Cleckheaton on a cold and windy day.
Nine hardy souls in the form of Big Bob, Adam, John, Kenny and Maggie, Stu and Adele, Derek and new member Mark from Gainsboro attended and represented the club. About 80 scooters were present and around two hundred people paid their respects as Danny the organiser said a few emotive words. After a piper played, there was two minutes silence, followed by the handing over a cheque for over £7000 to a representative from the Help for Heroes Charity
