Mersea Island

Whilst some of the Targets were in Holland & others went paddling in the lakes, Adam & Bob rode the 210 miles in relentless rain for the 6 hours of the journey to Mersea. The rain did not stop while they were putting up their tents, only stopping in the afternoon by which time they both had webbed feet. It was a welcome sight to see 2 other club members, Ian & Michelle, who had ventured down in the car & who kindly took their wet clothes to dry out in their static caravan. All the rain didn't dampen their spirits & they will definitely be attending next year at one of the best rallies of the season.
