23/24 2008 Kelso rally .
11 members of the club made their
way up the A1 to Kelso. The weather was kind and the atmosphere
was brilliant. Fun and games on the way up in the form of broken
clutch cables, a seizure and a defective stator plate meant it
took us nearly 7 hours to get there. The latter event also meant
that Cookie had to go home courtesy of a Recovery Van, but to his
credit got on his SX and landed in Kelso by 8.30pm. In all we had a really
good time. Quaint Kelso, friendly locals, good weather and Nev
Staples, what more do you want?
