VFM Pre Season Rally
 .While PC Pete travelled down to the Modrapheniacs do 11 members of SMTSC braved the reports of rain wind and snow to travel across country to Morecambe. Andy and Sheila went on ahead on the Friday leaving the rest of us to set off from the Market place at 8 am. On route we picked up Stu M, Mick and Debbie plus members of Kippax and Cas who were also heading across. A brekkie stop at Gargrave as usual watching other clubs race by. Andy T had the first of the weekends punctures, did well to hold it up on a downhill country lane covered in cow slurry. We got lost as usual on the Lancaster one way system but somehow found the seafront without too much hassle. A quick pint in the Ranch then some took in the parts fair. Weather closed in and 4 set off back home before it got worse, Kelvin managed the second puncture of the day which meant two riders going home on borrowed wheels. The rest stopped over and probably had worse weather coming back
