Helmsley Rideout
 .Organised by the East Coast clubs this was the second annual preseason run from Helmsley across Ryedale into Scarboro.  Sunday morning saw a good turn out from Selby and a prompt 9am start.Scooted up to the Highwayman for breakfast. Met Taddy White Rose and Slingsby scooters there. After Brekkie we hit some road works on the A64 which saw about 30 scoots whitelining on some terrible roads. Turned off the A64 and rode across some beautiful countryside through Castle Howard then into Helmsley. We were first to arrive as usual. Fair turn out for the ride out maybe 150 scoot. Some only came out to Helmsley but most then rode across the Ryedale villages and into Scarboro for chips. Stu had some mechanicals going home and Barry conked out completely.
Nice weather, a decent turn out so it looks good for the new season
